No Parabens!
None of Savannah Bee’s body care products contain parabens. The reason our packaging does not call out this fact is due to regulations for us to sell the products in Europe. Since the use of parabens is already banned in Europe, they do not allow the use of any language regarding parabens on product packaging. Parabens have been widely used since the 1950s to prevent bacteria growth in products. In the 1990s, parabens were deemed to mimic estrogen in the body, and so cosmetics companies began formulating without them. While there is not 100% evidence of this outcome, Savannah Bee has chosen to keep its formulas as pure as possible and not use parabens.
